Sensational director Shankar has been busy carving out his next big film 2.0 which happened to be the sequel for his past super hit movie Robo. Rajinikanth is the lead actor and 2.0 is touted to be the costliest film ever made in the history of South Indian cinema. Amy Jackson is the female lead and Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar will be seen as the lead antagonist in the film. The shoot of the film is currently in final stages and the movie has been aimed for Diwali release this year.
As per the latest news, the makers are in plans to release the first teaser of the film on April 14th on the eve of Tami New Year. The movie will have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi along with some international languages like Chinese and Japanese. AR Rahman is the music composer and Lyca Productions is bankrolling the movie. 2.0 will have a huge dose of VFX and the movie will release in 3D.
