The Heritage Foods Limited, founded Nara Chandrababu Naidu is celebrating its silver jubilee today. It is one of the fastest growing public listed companies in India with annual turnover of Rs.2380.58 crores in financial year 2015-16. Ever since its inception on 24 April, 1992 the company has come a long way through and now is being re-branded to appeal to newer generation. With the vision of delighting homes with fresh and healthy products, the B2C company which has reached million customers in 15 states of the country, is looking forward to reach out many millions of customers across India.

The company primarily aspires to be a national recognised brand and with a revenue of a billion dollar by 2022. Heritage foods which currently processes 14lakh litres of milk per day and has growth rate of 18 percent, needs to process 25-30 lakh litres per day and grow at 25 percent to become 6000 crore company.

The firm is likely to invest in brand equity, serve a wider base of consumers, invest, penetrate and saturate in existing markets and grow in North India. In India Heritage foods is one of the largest companies in dairy sector and a largest brand when it comes to curd in the private sector.

The company is presently focusing on Value added Dairy products by balancing social, economic and environmental values. It is one of the first dairy company to uses renewable energy sources.

The Executive director Brahmani says, “Heritage is going to stand for health and happiness. For next 25 years, it will carry on the values of farmer empowerment, best quality milk and milk products to the consumer, transparency and corporate governance.”

Heritage has been empowering the farmers and providing best quality products. It not only provides business benefits but also input and extension activities to the farmers. They provide accidental death insurances and medical treatments to their farmers and run veterinary clinics and health camps.

With its six-business divisions viz., Dairy, Retail, Agri, Bakery, Renewable Energy and Vetca, the company is envisioning to become Pan-India nationally recognised brand.
