Akkineni Nagarjuna is a good publicist. Yes, besides being a top star and sensible producer, Nag is known for his prudent and aggressive promotional strategies. He usually dedicates ample time for promoting his films and also his sons films. Even for movies under his Annapurna Studios production, he used to come out few days before their release to promote them aggressively.
Surprisingly, he choose to remain stolid this time. There are hardly any promotions for his upcoming film Rangula Ratnam which is set for release on January 14th. Starring Raj Tarun in the lead role, the film is produced on a shoestring budget by Nagarjuna on Annapurna Studios. But, he didn’t spare a minute to promote the film.
There was no buzz at all till the theatrical trailer was unveiled a few days ago. Even the social media promotions are missing too. Though the reasons for Nag’s silence are not known, Raj Tharun and his team would be feeling he spared some time for the film.
