Director Krish has a clever stratagem for the prestigious NTR biopic which chronicles the historical life of the legendary actor. Recently, it has been announced that the biopic, which was supposed to be a straight single film, is going to be a two part franchise : NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu.
After Krish came on board for this highly anticipated biopic, he reworked on the script and felt that depicting the glorious moments of the cinematic and the political life of NTR would need around four hours running time. In the present scenario, it might be difficult to keep audience hooked for such a long duration. Hence, Krish decided to make it as a two part franchise with crisp run time for both parts.
Reportedly, both parts will have less than 130 minutes running time. While the first part entirely focusses on his enviable career in Tollywood, the second one will glorify his stint as people’s leader.
By making it as a two part film, Krish has furthered the business prospects as well. As the project has been carrying heavy expectations in trade circles, the producers will easily recoup majority of their investment even before the first part of the film hits the screens.
