The ruling YCP is creating all silly obstacles for the Long March protest of Jana Sena Party founder Pawan Kalyan in Visakhapatnam. The Jana Sainiks staged protest after the police closed the gates of Andhra University. The Jana Sena crowds turned out to be able huge. They started pushing and clashing with the police there. They even tried to gatecrash into the University premises to park their vehicles.
Trouble began after AU Vice-Chancellor refused parking permission for Pawan event at the last minute. Very dutifully, the police mobilised lot of force and closed gates. This became a prestigious issue for both the police and Jana Sena activists. Jana Sainiks came there in large numbers from nearby districts. They far outnumbered the police who faced a tough time to control the situation.
Meanwhile, the AU students also held protest from inside the university premises. They criticised the VC for acting like a YCP activist. They raised slogans against the police for closing the gates and not allowing them to take part in Long March.
