Hyderabad: Jana Sena founder and Tollywood hero Pawan Kalyan is taking some crucial decisions as far as Telangana State is concerned. Pawan, who confessed recently that he is not really focusing on his party at the present juncture, appointed Bongunuri Mahender Reddy as Jana Sena political affairs convener for Telangana State. Mahender Reddy has been a close confidant of the Jana Sena leader ever since the inception of the Jana Sena party. Nemuri Shanker Goud and P Hari Prasad too got key posts in the party.
Mahender Reddy was initially appointed as Jana Sena vice-president. However, he will be overseeing the party affairs and co-ordinate the programmes in Telangana. Shanker Goud will be in-chaarge of Jana Sena in Telangana while P Hari Prasad, who is a senior journalist, will be the head of Jana Sena media wing.
With the new decisions, it can be surmised that Pawan is eyeing firm grip on Telangana and would not lose any opportunity to pounce upon.
It may be recalled that he recently directed his party cadre to search for a suitable building at Eluru in West Godavari district, his native district. He also asked the party leaders to make arrangements for new voter identity card with residence address in Eluru.
