Superstar Mahesh Babu kick-started the shoot of his next film Sarileru Neekevvaru in Kashmir last month and some crucial scenes were canned in the lavish 20-day schedule. Anil Ravipudi is the director and the makers planned things perfectly and the schedule got wrapped up on time. It took a month for the makers to acquire all the permissions as the film is canned across some exclusive and sensitive locales of Jammu and Kashmir.
Things altered after the movie unit returned back home. Heavy rains lashed the border state and soon tight security has been imposed after Indian Intelligence has been hinted about terror threats. The Amarnath tourists were forced to return home and now Jammu and Kashmir is announced as a union territory. It would have been quite tough for the unit of Sarileru Neekevvaru if the schedule started late. Sarileru Neekevvaru team is extremely happy for completing things in Kashmir on a peaceful and comfortable note.
