King Nagarjuna is all set to thrill the audience in Bangarraju, a village-based romantic drama and the film is a prequel for Soggade Chinni Nayana. Kalyan Krishna is busy penning the final draft and the regular shoot will commence from July this year. Naga Chaitanya was in talks to play a crucial role in the film initially.
But with Chaitanya occupied with a number of films, he could not allot the dates for the film. The entire team along with Nagarjuna voted for Akhil and the youngster will replace Chaitanya in Bangarraju. An official announcement will be made soon. Annapurna Studios are the producers and Bangarraju is aimed for Sankranthi 2020 release.
