Stylish Star Allu Arjun has announced Icon, a prestigious film to be directed by Vakeel Saab fame Sriram Venu. Top producer Dil Raju was on board to produce this film but it was put on hold due to various reasons. Allu Arjun moved on to Pushpa and Sriram Venu directed Thammudu featuring Nithiin in the lead role. The trailer launch event took place last night and there was a discussion about Icon. Dil Raju prefered not to respond about Icon and he also asked Sriram Venu not to discuss about the film. But Sriram Venu reconfirmed that Icon is not the script of Thammudu and it is a different one.

This hints that Icon is in discussion and it is not shelved. Dil Raju has spent so much money on the pre-production work of Icon and the film will happen soon. The production house is on a hunt for the right actor to play the lead role in Icon and it would be announced again with the right actor. The response for Thammudu trailer is quite positive and the film releases on July 4th.
