After the massive success of the first part, the sequel to SS Rajamouli’s epic drama Baahubali has set heavy expectations among trade circles in all languages. As the first part collected huge moolah with the Tamil and Hindi versions, the makers have sold the distribution rights for staggering prices.
It is already a known fact that the Tamil distribution rights have been snapped by for a stunning price by Raja Ratnam of K Entertainment. As per the latest trade update, distributors from various areas of Tamil Nadu are acquiring the Tamil rights of Baahubali 2 for whopping prices. In areas like Chennai City and Chengal Peta, the distribution rights have been sold for a solid price to Thenandal Films.
Also , the North and South Arcot area rights have been snapped by Five Star Senthil for a handsome price. Though the official figures have not been disclosed, trade experts stated that Baahubali 2 has set a non Rajinikanth movie record with it’s stunning pre release business all over Tamil.
The film is gearing up for a grand release worldwide on April 28th. Arka Media Works banner is the production unit behind this magnum opus.
