The race to secure a place in the Bigg Boss Telugu 9 finale escalated sharply in the latest episode, marked by disputes, strategy shifts and another round of controversial eliminations from tasks. With the pressure rising and only days left for the finale week, house equations turned increasingly volatile.
“Catch If You Can” Task Begins
The episode opened with Emanuel expressing concern about whether Sanjana misunderstood his participation in the decision that excluded her from the previous task. Before the issue settled, Bigg Boss launched the next competition, “Catch If You Can.” Sanjana and Kalyan served as joint sanchalaks and were responsible for throwing balls into baskets attached to contestants.
However, Sanjana quickly pointed out that Kalyan appeared to avoid giving chances to Suman. This accusation triggered arguments, with Kalyan and Tanuja defending themselves. Notably, Tanuja gained the highest points in this round, largely due to receiving more balls in her basket. Later, Sanjana privately confided in Bharani that Kalyan had become a “puppet” in Tanuja’s hands.
Another Shock: Two Must Be Excluded
Bigg Boss then announced another twist: two contestants must be excluded from the upcoming task. This immediately set off intense lobbying and emotional confrontations.
Emanuel pleaded with housemates not to exclude him again since they had voted to support him the previous day. But Sanjana countered that although she and others supported him earlier, it was not he who faced exclusion then. Sanjana also lashed out at Pavan, accusing him of repeatedly targeting her.
Ultimately, majority vote resulted in Emanuel and Pavan being excluded, adding further strain to house equations.
“Don’t Give Up” Task: Bharani Surges Ahead
The next challenge, titled “Don’t Give Up,” required contestants to solve a puzzle and then complete a demanding physical endurance task—holding a rope without bending elbows as it gradually lowered.
Sanjana finished the puzzle first, followed by Tanuja. But both failed to complete the physical round and were disqualified. Bharani performed strongly in both segments and secured the top spot, while Suman finished last. With this, Bharani and Tanuja rose to the top two on the leaderboard.
Vote Appeal and Visible Bias
Bigg Boss then allowed the top two scorers, Bharani and Tanuja, to address a physical audience. The interaction, however, seemed subtly guided. Bigg Boss asked viewers whether a contestant who returns to the house can transform their game, prompting audience members to praise Bharani’s “extraordinary improvement.” This was viewed by many as yet another example of Bigg Boss favoring Bharani’s journey. Tanuja got opportunity to appeal to the audience and Bigg boss steered the idea of female winner.
With shifting alliances, emotionally charged confrontations and controversial decisions, the finale race has become unpredictable. But one thing is clear: Bigg Boss is tightening the game, and every move inside the house now carries weight in determining who reaches the final stage.
