AP CM (and TDP President) Nara Chandrababu Naidu is busy assigning assignments for TDP leaders. It is known that differences broke out between the TDP leadership and AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao after the later skipped a key meeting. Chandrababu called upon Ganta Srinivas Rao and tried to calm him.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu has ordered Ganta to go to Kadapa district and make his presence in the “Ukku Deeksha” undertaken by CM Ramesh. According to party sources, Ganta is likely to stay in Kadapa until the conclusion of the “Deeksha”.
Parallelly, TDP MPs will take part in a special meeting in the Parliamentary Hall (New Delhi), discussing the current situation in Andhra Pradesh. Post this, TDP MPs will meet Birender Singh, Union Minister of Steel at 1:00pm post noon. The MPs will submit a written plea to the Union Minister for the setting up of a steel plant in Kadapa. Depending on how the Minister responds, TDP MPs are likely to take a decision upon consultation with Chandrababu Naidu.
