As Chiranjeevi took the stage at the CineMAA awards, telecast on television on Sunday evening, social media went into a tizzy. Well, Watching the megastar perform and not losing his mojo was obviously a big deal for many.
But it wasn’t just online but even households saw families sit together to watch their favourite matinée idol back in action.
It was days of anticipation and well, it did pay off for many. A walk across a street would give you an idea of how everyone was glued to their tv sets waiting to watch him perform. Of course a stage was set and drama was build up for us to enjoy the few moments he actually recreated the magic.
And when he did, there was no stopping anybody because not just in the event venue, euphoria seemed to crawl into houses as well. With 40 something moms surprising their kids with their excitement as Chiru danced to Chiki Chiki Chelum.
Well, this does look like his time to make a comeback is quite right. There are many who just can’t wait!
