the United States acknowledged the grand gala celebration of foundation laying ceremony of new capital Amaravati on October 22, 2015. The mayor of city of Fremont, Bill Harrison sent an appreciation letter for Naidu for his successful conduct of the historic event. The certificate of appreciation has been delivered to IT and I&PR minister Palle Raghuntha Reddy, who is on US tour.
The certificate reads” The certificate is awarded to Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to commemorate the historical event of laying of Foundation Stone for People’s Capital City of Andhra Pradesh “Amaravati” and acknowledge the efforts of Telugu community, a vital part of the Bay Area economy, for their contributions in building a world class capital city for the state of Andhra Pradesh”.
