Fatal car accident in the early hours of Sunday resulted in the death of three persons and injuries to five. Misssouri Highway Patrol who investigated the fatal accident revealed that just before 4 AM, a driver was heading east bound in the westbound lanes on Interstate 44,near mile marker 236.
During that time his 2004 Sab 2.0, hit the front left corner of the 2013 Toyota Sienna driven by 23 year old Sushma Settipalli of Plano,Texas. The impact was so hard that Sushma Settpalli and her 2 year old son Mahidar died on the spot. Robert bastson, driver of the other car too died.
Seven people were traveling in Settipalli’s van and according to police all of them were wearing seat belts.39 year old Ratnakur Settipalli and his daughter 4 year old Keerthana were admitted in St. Louis hospital with serious injuries.
Chinmayee Guupalli,23,of Atlanta,Ga and Vishnavi Yerneni,22 of Houston,Texas were admitted in Mercy Hospital with moderate injuries while Tagore Gullapalli,21 of Plano,Texas was admitted in Mercy Hospital with minor injuries.
News of the accident reached in the Plano apartment complex and neighbours expressed shock and pain at the incident. Settipalli’s friends confirmed that the family was returning to North Texas after thanks giving with relatives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
