Vaisshnav Tej made an impressive debut with Uppena and the film is expected to collect Rs 50 crores in its final run. The actor also completed the shoot of his second film last year. Krish directed this interesting film which is tentatively titled Kondapolam. Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady and First Frame Entertainments produced the film which is made on a strict budget. Kondapolam is mostly shot in the forests of Vikarabad district.
Tollywood distributor Laxman acquired the theatrical rights of the film for a price of Rs 11 crores. He will distribute the film across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The release date of the film will be announced soon after the post-production formalities are completed. Laxman also acquired the theatrical rights of Nani’s Tuck Jagadish which is hitting the screens in summer. Vaisshnav Tej is currently on a break and he will announce his third project soon.
