What would be a dream combination with sky the limit for the film’s revenue, we’ve been told that filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who hit national headlines with his two parts of ‘Baahubali’, has agreed to make a film for Mythri Movie Makers. The top shot has lauded the movies the production house has made till now and when the trio of Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri approached him with a proposal to make a film for them, he obliged.
A source close to the development confirmed to telugu360.com, “Rajamouli has just given his verbal nod. Nothing is on paper yet. DVV Danayya had to wait for an eternity to get a film made for him despite the director promising him movie years ago. There are other production houses waiting in line to get Rajamouli make a film for them but it’s likely that Mythri might pip them given their reputation and current form.”
The source added, “Naturally Rajamouli will be calling the shots for the project, with Mythri providing the support that he needs. The story isn’t locked yet, so the question of a lead actor doesn’t arise at this juncture. The project might happen in 2020.”
Rajamouli is presently occupied with the pre-production of his untitled venture with NTR and Ram Charan, which is being made on DVV Entertainment.
