There have been news about CBI former joint director VV Lakshminarayana joining Lok satta party and becoming its president. However latest update is that Lakshmi Narayana withdrawn his decision to join loksatta party and taking its steering.
Lakshmi Narayana now announced that he will be floating a new party and he will announce further details about the party at a later point of time. This latest update came almost as a shocker, as most of the mainstream media reported that he is all set to take over the president role of Lok satta party and founder president jayaprakash Narayana will take up an advisory role now on.
But there have been reports that, even during the meeting with Jayaprakash Narayana, Lakshmi Narayana did not express his full consent to join Loksatta but he only told that he will think about it and reveal his decision later. However, to the surprise of Lakshmi Narayana, all the mainstream media reported that he is joining loksatta and will be taking over the president post of the party. Also in last couple of days, there has been a lot of negative feedback on Lakshmi Narayana joining loksatta party, which is seen as a failed experiment in the state. Some netizens pointed that, he should rather start a new party instead of joining a party that got lesser votes than NOTA in previous elections.
Anyway, we will have to wait and see what decision Lakshmi Narayana will take finally.
