The talkie part of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film, which is titled Gautamiputra Satakarni, is progressing at a brisk pace. Creative cineaste Krish Jagarlamudi is directing this highly anticipated historical film which chronicles the life history of the great Satavahana ruler, Gautamiputra Satakarni. Shriya Saran is playing the film’s leading lady and Bollywood actor Hema Malini is essaying an important role.
The unit has wrapped up two hectic schedules, one each in Morocco and Georgia, where crucial war episodes have been canned on a grand style. The team has taken a small break as Krish is going to get married in the next week The latest update reveals that the shooting will resume in the third week of this month in Hyderabad. After this, the unit will move to Madhya Pradesh for an important schedule which commences from September 1st. Majority of the talkie part will be wrapped up with this schedule.
The makers are confident of releasing the film for Sankranthi. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the tunes and First Frame Entertainment banner is producing this film on a lavish budget.
