Gedela Srinu, who ditched Pawan, got 1000 cr SEZ in Hyderabad

It is known news that Gedela Srinu, the entrepreneur, ditched Pawan Kalyan in the last minute despite getting Janasena MP ticket from Vizag. His joining of YSRCP after getting a ticket from janasena gave a jolt to Pawan Kalyan fans. But Pawan Kalyan immediately countered the move of YSRCP by joining former CBI joint director JD Lakshmi Narayana into the party. However, there have been different and multiple reasons for Gedela Sreenu ditching Pawan Kalyan in the last minute.

1000 cr SEZ in Hyderabad in 2018 itself:

It seems TRS is going extra mile to help Jagan in upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections. There have been rumours in political circles about TRS party threatening MP candidates of janasena. It looks like Gedela Srinu also might have got similar calls from TRS as well. His company Omics International, that is primarily into open-acess journals and international scientific conferences, has got approval for a Rs 1,000 crore special economic zone (SEZ) at Chandanagar, Hyderabad, spread over 25 acres in 2018 itself. The company has obtained Government of India approval for the project and Hyderabad-based property developer Phoenix Group started to develop this project 6 months back itself.

US institute sued him in 2016 itself:

It needs to be noted that, despite having legal cases on the company at United States of America since 2013, he got all permissions from government of India and he got SEZ from TRS ruled Telangana government. The company started its operations in 2008 and by 2015 it claimed publishing of 700 journals. The U.S. National Institutes of Health sent a cease-and-desistletter to OMICS in 2013, demanding it to discontinue with false claims of affiliation with U.S. government entities or employees. In August 2016 OMICS became the first academic publisher to be sued by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which alleged deceptive practices. But despite all these, TRS government gave him 25 acres of land in prime area and approved special economic zone worth of 1000 crores.

So it is very clear that he has very good connections with TRS party. As everyone knows TRS party is hell bent on winning maximum MP seats for ys Jagan. Probably one single phone call from TRS to Gedela Srinu regarding his SEZ might have changed all the equations. But some others point out that Pawan Kalyan himself kicked him out of the party after knowing these fraudulent activities. Anyway, even after joining ysrcp he did not get any ticket. As of now it looks like Gedela Srinu political career has come to an end. But if ys Jagan wants to encourage him at a later point of time, he may resurrect his political career again.
