Comedian Prithvi, who became popular among Telugu audience with “30 years industry” dialogue, gets the post of SVBC chairman. As per reports, Jagan has already informed Prithvi regarding the same.
It is known news that Tollywood director K Raghavendra Rao has resigned to his chairman post of Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel (SVBC) which is run by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam immediately after YSRCP winning the election, citing health reasons. K. Raghavendra rao was in that post since 2015 till 2019 May, that is almost 4 years. He was given that post considering he made devotional films like Annamayya that had some connection to Tirumala.
However, Jagan decided now to repay Prithvi, who supported YSRCP by participating in Jagan’s padayatra and speaking positively about Jagan in his interviews. Prithvi is also relative of Tadepalligudem YSRCP MLA Kottu satyanarayana. Apart from supporting YSRCP, there doesn’t seem to have any other reason for giving SVBC chairman post to Prithvi.
