Jawaan overseas report
The dullness at the overseas box office seems to have not eased off even with the latest release Jawaan which opened on a mediocre start this Friday. The commercial entertainer took a good start at the domestic box office, but managed only lukewarm openings in US.
According to the latest trade reports, Jawaan registered $ 45K on its premiers day from 50 odd locations. The film is directly released by the producer and there are hardly any promotions in the overseas circles. The film should register decent figures in the first weekend atleast to recover the expenses.
The film managed to garner moderate reviews and word of mouth from general audience. It remains to be seen if it can sustain the first weekend with this talk.
Despite few shortcomings in narration, Sai Dharam Tej’s energetic performance is being applauded by critics and audience alike. Directed by BVS Ravi, Jawaan stars Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead.
