Kajal has forever been typecast as the glam-doll and most directors have not thought past that image whenever they cast her. But the actress herself seemingly disagrees.
“It’s unfair to say this is a one off role. I have constantly been trying to reinvent myself, learn and grow at every step of my career and will continue to do so,” she shares, adding, “If you look at my characters, I have had a huge variety. I have played a cop, I have been the naughty girl, I have played the balanced woman, I have been a princess – twice – and will soon be seen as a blind girl. Would you still say there’s no variety?”
Well, then. Has she done it all? Has every dream character been essayed. “Not really. I would love to be part of an action film where I get to be in the thick of all the action. I also want to do a lot of comedy, not be a part of it but I want the comedy to revolve around me. These two would be really exciting,” she states.
