Koratala Siva reacts on casting couch and Sri Reddy issue

Koratala Siva is one director who earned huge respect with just three films with a strong social message in each and every film he directed. With his next film Bharat Ane Nenu hitting the screens this Friday, there have been allegations involving Koratala Siva in casting couch issue. The ace director before starting his promotions interacted with the media

“I came across the issue and I am here to clarify about the screenshots that are being circulated on my name. I have been occupied with the post-production work of Bharat Ane Nenu and I am informed about these through my well-wishers and they asked me not to respond about the speculations. But I am tensed as I am targeted. I saw lot of discussion on this. Personally, I am a man who is completely against casting couch and I never encouraged anyone on this. I have worked with number of actors in my four films I directed and I respected each and every actor who worked in my films”.

“With lot of due respect, I never addressed anyone with a singular. We feel offended whenever we hear things about this. Not naming anyone, I feel unfortunate to be named in this and it was my family, well wishers who supported me. I just wanted to make things clear that I am strictly against this. I have travelled with my mother and my wife all throughout my life who are my biggest strengths. I never used such language even on my sets and I have never presented anything bad about women in my films. One can cross check with any actor or technician I worked with in my films. I just want to clear all the allegations and step out with a positive mood before starting the promotions of Bharat Ane Nenu” clarified Koratala.
