After giving a memorable hit in Telugu film industry with “Happy Days”, director Sekhar Kammula next project had high expectation. The talented director took a good time of three years and made “Leader” launching Rana Daggubati but it failed at box office. Interestingly during the television premier Leader film received good TRP’s and even whenever in MAA TV this movie is played it scores high number.
Sekhar himself laughs out with the joke that Leader is a small screen hit not a big screen hit. But he strongly believes in the subject and after recent hit “Fidaa” he started working on the sequel to Leader movie. As the regular direction department team of Sekhar, Leader sequel script is being prepared keeping Mahesh Babu in mind.
All the needed commercial elements needed for star hero are being added to make it a modern day Leader which will be appreciated by every section of audiences, added direction team. Fidaa story was initially narrated to Mahesh which he liked but due to other commitments, star hero couldn’t do it. Leader 2 story is almost in end stages and very soon Sekhar is going to tell it to Mahesh Babu. Let’s hope star hero gives green signal to Sekhar Kammula.
