After several years of making a cameo in a Telugu film, it took nearly three decades for Malayali superstar Mohanlal to actually make a comeback to Telugu cinema. And when he finally did, the “Complete Actor”, has done so by kicking off with a busy schedule as he juggles between the sets of Manamantha and Janatha Garage.
While we had reported that Mohanlal plays a supermarket manager in Manamantha, it has emerged that he’ll play a mechanic fighting social evils in Janatha Garage in which he plays a major role on par with the film’s male lead NTR.
His character is that of a mechanic who runs a garage, and is uncle to NTR’s character. Interestingly, he repairs not just automobiles but “anything”.
Apparently, the role has a lot of emotional drama which is the prime reason for the Lalettan to okay the role.
