Mojo TV to shut down in a month or two

Now it’s official. Mojo TV that was founded on 2016, is going to be shut down in a month or two. The new management of the channel informed its employees about their decision to shut the channel down. The management offered it’s employees one month of additional salary to its employees and ask them to look out for the opportunities elsewhere. Details as below

Mojo TV, short form of mobile journalism, was founded in 2016 and slowly became popular among a section of audience. Even though it could not reach for the top, it definitely made it’s mark on viewers. The channel ran into troubles after the allegations of Ravi Prakash , former CEO of TV9, involvement in this channel. Alanda media, that took over TV9 made some serious allegations that Mojo TV management and Ravi Prakash colluded and Ravi Prakash sold TV9 logo for a mere 99 thousand rupees to mojo TV. Another allegation on mojo TV by Ananda media is that Ravi Prakash has diverted the funds of TV9 to Mojo TV.

TV9 owner My home Rameshwar Rao is a big shot in the state of Telangana. After he intervened into this affair, police acted so hastily as per his directions. There were news about mojo TV chairman Harikiran being harassed by the police. Mojo TV CEO Revathi also slapped with police cases. Later, mojo TV management also has been changed. Directors and CEO of the channel replaced and the channel completely went into the hands of new management that has blessings of Rameshwara Rao.

Now this new management announced that they want to shut down the channel. The hue and cry of the employees not bothered by anyone. Overall, one more Telugu news channel disappeared into the darkness.
