Murthy confirmed resigning to Mahaa TV

The story ran by Mahaa News about sting operation on Pawan Kalyan’s alleged secret meeting attracted lot of Criticism from janasena fans as well as others (https://www.telugu360.com/telugu-channel-claims-sting-operation-on-pawan-kalyans-secret-meeting/). After that story, Murthy, editor of the news channel Mahaa TV, did not appear in the channel for three successive days and that gave rise to speculations that Murthy has been sacked by the channel or he was forced by the channel to resign. Today Murthy himself came live in YouTube channel and confirmed that he resigned to Mahaa TV and also explained his version of what happened behind the screen.

MAHA TV management stopped the story abruptly:Murthy explained that the story did not have proper ending as management abruptly stopped the show. He added that, after MAHA TV management asking him to abruptly end story, he had argument with them and gave resignation to his post on the spot.

I am not against Janasena: Murthy, in this video, repeatedly told that he is not against Janasena party. In fact he welcomed the party as the political power in the state has been confined only to few sections for several decades. He reminded that, during Kathi Mahesh incident, when most of the channels supporting Kathi Mahesh who was personally targeting Pawan Kalyan, it was him who counter attacked Kathi Mahesh. He told that, at that time Pawan Kalyan fans showered praises on him. But the same people are now trolling him.  Murthy told, he only wanted janasena to correct itself and he never intend to spoil the prospects of that party.

It was a secret meeting:Murthy told that, it was a secret meeting but many people are saying that it is not a secret meeting as they don’t know the facts. He added that, originally in the meeting was scheduled at Avasa hotel but they later changed the venue and sent messages through WhatsApp to those who are attending the meeting. Later they changed it to Kakatiya hotel. Murthy also showed an evidence to people that venue was booked on the name of illusion media but not on the  name of janasena.

It was a caste meetingMurthy also showed evidence that only kapus were invited to the meeting. He showed a video in which a person, who attended the meeting, was telling that only kapus are invited. He also told that he even have videos of the speeches given by various people in the meeting including Pawan Kalyan, but he did not telecast them and is not showing them now too because he doesn’t have anything personally against Pawan Kalyan or Janasena party 

They collected cash too: Murthy also told that they have collected cash also in that fundraising event. He added that ,collecting funds in form of cash is against to the principle of Pawan Kalyan but the organizers are collecting in form of cash and Murthy wanted the party to correct this and that is the only reason for him to telecast this story.

That is not my character: Murthy came down heavily on the trollers. He condemned the allegations Janasena fans are doing against him- about his caste fanaticism, about taking money from other parties . He revealed the branches in which he has bank accounts and told he doesn’t have more than 3 lacs in his account. He also clarified people about his caste by saying he doesn’t belong to the caste that most of the politicians (of ruling parties and opposition parties) belong to. He told if he is really money minded person, he could have taken those videos to Pawan Kalyan himself and negotiated with him but he never did such things with his two decades journalist career.

Finally he clarified that, he is out of the job now and he has financial resources to survive for couple of months only and he will continue to question – not just Janasena but all political parties in this election season as has his sources in all the political parties.
