Akkineni scion Akhil’s debut film Akhil released on Diwali and garnered mixed response from the audience. The shoddy execution of a complicated and substandard story overshadowed the energetic performance of the Akkineni lad. The first day collections are solid in all areas, but they have plunged drastically from the second day.
Yesterday, Akhil team organised the success meet in Hyderabad and Nagarjuna attended the event. In a sorry state of affairs, Nagarjuna lauded Varun Tej’s Kanche during the press meet and the entire Akhil team was seen with crest fallen faces. Speaking about Akhil, Nagarjuna said that he is happy with his son’s acting skills and rated 5 stars for his performance. He also lauded Sayyesha Saigal’s effort in the film.
Giving clarity over the rumours about his rift with Akhil for the delay, Nagarjuna quashed the news saying that there is no authenticity in them.
