Young actor Naga Shaurya is making his Tamil debut with an interesting thriller titled as Karu( Kanam in Telugu). The bilingual film has happening beauty Sai Pallavi in a prominent role. Yesterday, the film’s Tamil audio launch was held in Chennai.
Surprisingly, Naga Shaurya was not present at the event. His absence is now raising many doubts among audience. The Chalo actor seems to have intentionally skipped the event and is keeping himself away from the promotions as he is not given due preference by the makers right from the start of the project.
True that Sai Pallavi is essaying a more weighty role in this bilingual. It has been widely promoted as a female oriented film. The trailers are teasers have entirely thrown limelight on Sai Pallavi’s character.
Also, Naga Shaurya didn’t show any interest in discussing about the film while promoting Chalo. In one of his recent interviews, he made striking comments on Sai Pallavi taking away most of the credit in her films.
And, by skipping the audio launch, Shaurya has dropped enough hints that all is not well between him and the makers of Kanam.
The film directed by AL Vijay, is set for release in March.
