“Nikhil’s Next Film (KIRIK PARTY Remake) overseas by Trendy Cinemas”.
Trendy Cinemas, an overseas distribution company, known to bring new age films to movie lovers in overseas is very excited to announce its newest acquisition, NIKHIL’s next film, an official remake of Kannada Block Buster film “KIRIK PARTY”.
Featuring NIKHIL, who is on a roll with back to back hits “Keshava” and “Ekkadipothavu Chinnavada”, the movie also stars actresses, Samyukta Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna who are going to reprise their original roles in this remake.
This film will be a comeback for NIKHIL to campus genre film after “HAPPY DAYS” who has been consciously working on different genre of films. In his latest outing, NIKHIL is going to portray the happiness of a youngster’s life like never before and in this journey, he goes through a self-discovery process which is only to be experienced on silver screen.
This movie is produced by Anil Sunkara under AK Entertainments banner, and Directed by debutant Sharan Koppisetti.
In writing department, three good friends & frequent collaborators of Nikhil, Chandu Mondeti (Director of “Surya vs Surya”) and Sudheer Varma (Director of “Swamy Rara” and “Keshava”) are coming together for this film with one penning dialogues and other writing the screenplay of the film respectively to recreate the magic that was created in the original film.
Ajaneesh Lokanth is scoring the tunes for the film which are going to be huge asset for the film.
The original was not only the all-time biggest grosser of Kannada but, also won several awards including Best Film at IIFA Utsavam and also, the Karnataka State Film Awards for Best Family Entertainer.
It’s been a long time since we have had a genuine campus rom-com film in Telugu. The movie is promised to leave the audience in nostalgia from their college days.
