Katamarayudu Censor report

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan intended to come out with a clean family entertainer because of which he signed Katamarayudu, the remake of Tamil blockbuster Veeram. Impressed with the work of Kishore Kumar Pardasani (Dolly), Pawan wanted him to direct Katamarayudu which is gearing up for release next week. The movie completed all the censor formalities and the makers announced that the film received clean U certificate with some minor cuts.

It was Pawan who wanted a clean U certificate and so the makers had to compromise on the suggested cuts. However the censor certificate which has been out recently shows that Katamarayudu has been awarded U/A certificate and not clean U. This is sure a huge shock for the makers. Sharat Marar remained unavailable to comment on this. North Star Entertainments produced Katamarayudu which will release on March 24th. The runtime of the film is said to be 149 minutes.
