Pawan raises voice on farmers’ problems

0

Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan made a strong plea to the Jaganmohan Reddy government to immediately review and solve problems of the farmers in the state. There are burning issues like huge pending dues, shortage of seed and water supply. Pawan asked the ruling party not to create a situation where the farmers would have to hold dharnas instead of toiling hard in the farm fields.

Jana Senani made the plea after receiving representation from the farmers. They said that they have to receive Rs 611 crore towards the supply of foodgrain made to the government. Most of these are relating to the farmers of East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna districts.

Shortage of seed is troubling the farmers badly. They are not able to get supply though they are standing in queues for long hours. In Anantapur district, only 50 per cent groundnut seed is available now.
