Several top Telugu filmmakers have at least once confessed in open about their dream of directing Pawan Kalyan. Although star director VV Vinayak has directed the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, NTR and Ram Charan, he has been longing to do a film with the ‘Gabbar Singh’ actor. It seems that a project in this explosive combo may finally shape up.
As per fresh reports, Pawan has been in touch with Vinayak over the past few months and they have discussed a few ideas. Nothing is finalized as of now. And, Vinayak is busy scouting a script that can do justice to his combo project with Pawan. If he can come up with a subject that connects with Pawan, he will be the next director after Trivikram to direct this actor-turned-politician.
Although Pawan had earlier considered the likes of Tamil director Neason, Santosh Sivan etc. he voted in favor of Vinayak after realizing the importance of having an experienced director calling shots. The way Vinayak relaunched Megastar with Khaidi No.150 may also be one of the reasons for Pawan’s inclination towards this commercial director. AM Ratnam, who has been put on hold by Pawan for past few years, may produce this high budget project.
Meanwhile, Pawan is busy wrapping up Trivikram’s film.
