‘Mirchi’ combo to reunite again

Released in 2013, Prabhas starrer action drama Mirchi marked the success debut of writer Koratala Siva as a director. The film went on to become one of the biggest hits in Tollywood and also the highest grosser in Prabhas’ career at that time.

Now, the hit Prabhas – Koratala Siva combination is likely to reunite again after a gap of nearly 6 years.

According to the latest buzz in industry circles, the Srimanthudu director and the Baahubali actor are in talks for a big budget entertainer with a top production house. Sources say that a film under the Mirchi combination is definitely on cards.

Both Prabhas and Koratala are on the pinnacle of their respective careers now. With Baahubali, Prabhas has emerged as a global star. Koratala, on the other side, is carrying solid success ratio as director with four super hits on trot.

So, a film under this heady combination is bound to create ripples among trade circles and audience.

Prabhas is currently busy with Saaho and has already locked Radha Krishna for his next project, which makes him a busy actor till 2019. Meanwhile, Koratala has a couple of commitments for top production houses.

So, the Koratala – Prabhas project might take some time to materialize.
