Veteran actor Prakash Raj has done impressive roles in his career. Despite of several controversies, his performance brought him crucial roles in several biggies. The actor has been approached to reprise the role of DMK Chief Karunanidhi in the biopic of Jayalalithaa which is titled Thalaivi. The actor is all excited about the assignment and signed the project immediately. Prakash Raj played Karunanidhi’s role in Mani Ratnam’s Iddaru in 1997.
Now after 22 years, Prakash Raj is approached for the same role. Prakash Raj will join the sets of Thalaivi from January 2020. The shoot of the film starts in December and some crucial episodes on the leading lady Kangana Ranaut will be canned. AL Vijay is the director and Vishnu Induri is the producer. The film releases next year in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
