Sensational director Puri Jagannadh is known for wrapping back to back films. He keeps himself busy with multiple films and never sits idle. After couple of disasters, the actor tested his luck with Kalyanram’s ISM which ended up as a below average grosser. Kalyanram’s performance received stupendous response however Puri has been criticised for his poor narration skills. Tarak is said to have signed a film for Puri but the actor walked out after ISM ended up as a disappointment. The ace director is currently busy preparing scripts and returned back from Bangkok recently.
Puri Jagannadh is said to have started working on his shelved project titled Rogue. The movie completed 80% of its shoot and it has been kept on hold due to financial issues. Rogue features Ishaan, a debutant in the lead role and Pooja Jhaveri, Mannara Chopra are the female leads. The movie’s shoot started recently and the entire shoot will be wrapped up soon. CR Manohar who produced Srikanth’s Mahatma is producing the film and Puri will wrap up the entire shoot after which he will move on to his next project. Rogue is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada languages. The makers are in plans to release the film during the last week of January 2017.
