That Superstar Rajinikanth and Kabali director Ranjith Pa are reuniting for yet another gangster drama is a known news. Reportedly, the film’s story is based on the notorious smuggler Haji Mastan who ruled the roost in Mumbai mafia for over two decades. The regular shooting of this big budget entertainer is likely to commence in this month.
According to the fresh reports in national media, Sunder Sekhar who claims to be Haji Mastan’s son has sent notice to Rajinikanth not to depict his father as a smuggler and a don in the film. However, Rajinikanth and his team are yet to respond on this issue.
Rajinikanth’s son in law and actor Dhanush will bankroll the film and a Bollywood actress is likely to play the female lead. The formal launch of the film will take place shortly.
