Superstar Rajinikanth met his fans after eight years in Chennai. His fans gathered in thousands at the Raghavendra Mandapam, Chennai today and all those who carried valid identity cards have been asked to enter the premises. Rajinikanth arrived as planned and he pledged his fans to take care of their families first. He even requested them to stay away from alcohol. Rajinikanth made clear that he is not going to join politics soon and he even addressed his fans that if he at all joins politics, it will be for the service of the people and not for earning money.
The actor admitted that he did a mistake 21 years back by supporting a political alliance and mentioned it as a political accident. Rajinikanth said that it is all in the hands of God to decide and he wants him to be an actor as of now. Rajinikanth interacted with his fans spending time with them and he posed for pictures individually with them. Rajini revealed that he will be starting the shoot of his next film in the direction of PA Ranjith from May 28th in Chennai.
