Rakul Preet Singh is going through a tough phase as she is short of offers in Tollywood. Her last big ticket film is Mahesh Babu’s Spyder. She recently appeared in a cameo role in NTR biopic. Busy with a couple of Tamil films, Rakul Preet is now likely to sign a Telugu film after a brief hiatus.
Reportedly, director Maruthi is planning to rope in Rakul Preet for his next project which will feature Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role. Maruthi initially wanted to cast Geetha Govindham fame Rashmika Mandanna in this film. But, due to her busy schedule, Rashmika might not be available for next one year. So, Maruthi is considering Rakul Preet as she is looking for meaty offers now. Also, she previously shared screen space with Sai in Winner.
If everything falls in place, Rakul Preet might sign the film and the regular shooting is likely to commence in mid Summer. Geetha Arts banner will produce this film.
