Ram Charan’s recent outing Rangasthalam has been declared as an blockbuster and the film has been raking decent revenues even in its fifth week of its run. The film’s digital rights have been picked up by Amazon Prime for a record price and as per the contract Amazon can telecast the film after 45 days of the theatrical release date. Based on contract, this film can be on amazon prime anytime after May 13th. But the buyers have been mounting pressure on the makers to delay the release of Rangasthalam on Amazon Prime as the film has been performing well. Rangasthalam will complete 50 days on May 18th and the makers wanted Amazon to postpone their plans for five more days.
Despite of the request of the makers, Amazon is not in a mood to step down and Rangasthalam will be released online anytime on May 13th. Mythri Movie Makers are trying their best to delay the digital release by five days and we have to wait to see what happens next.
