Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has recently commenced shooting for his next film Majnu (Working title) in the direction of Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti. The film is an official remake of Malayalam smash hit Premam. It is learnt that the story of the film is slightly tweaked to suit the Telugu nativity. Shruti Haasan and Anupama Parameshwaran have been confirmed as the female leads and there is a slight indecision regarding Aisha Sharma’s inclusion in the film’s cast.
It is learnt that the makers are now planning to rope in Regina Cassandra as the third female lead for the film. However, an official confirmation will clarify the ongoing buzz in the industry circles. The current schedule is happening in Vizag where some crucial scenes featuring Shruti Haasan and Naga Chaitanya are being canned.
Suryadevara Naga Vamshee is producing the film on Sitara Entertainment banner. Happening Malayalam music composers Rajesh Murugesan and Gopi Sundar will score the tunes.
