Ritu Varma shot fame after Pelli choopulu turned out to be an instant hit at the box-office. The actress is in no mood to hurry and she has been signing interesting roles that make her place prominent in South Indian cinema. Rajamouli is making his debut as VR film director and the film has been titled ‘The Sword of Baahubali’. Ritu Varma has been approached for a role and she gave her immediate nod when asked. The actress has been quite excited and she revealed that she had no knowledge when she has been asked for the role.

Speaking about this Ritu said “I am excited to be associated with the project. When it is Rajamouli sir on board, who can say no. A facial scan has taken place in USA with a special VR camera. Almost 30 facial expressions of mine have been captured which will be used throughout the film. This is completely a new experience. I have dubbed for my role in the film. Virtual reality is sure the face of future cinema and I am super excited about the release”.

The Sword of Baahubali’ is all set to be screened at Tribeca Film Festival soon just before Baahubali: The Conclusion hits the screens.
