Animal is one of the biggest hit of the year and it is doing well in theatres. The film’s director Sandeep Vanga gave interviews after the super success of Animal and he took a direct dig on film critics of Bollywood. He even went ahead and named some of the top critics saying that they are unaware of the craft of cinema. “One thing I understood after staying in Bombay for almost five years. There is a gang of critics and they like one particular kind of films. They praise those films and not others. This happened even during Arjun Reddy” told Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
“There is a culture of giving money for critics. I never did that and I never do that. If you notice in my entire film career, I never tweeted or posted any review on my official social media page. For the first time, I posted the review of Ram Gopal Varma as I am a big fan of him and his work. He contributed alot to Indian cinema and nobody has done that” told Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Animal featured Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles. Sandeep Reddy Vanga co-produced the film along with T Series.
