Top producer Dil Raju is known to have balanced his distribution business for years. Couple of new players have joined the game in Nizam but Dil Raju has bagged several biggies. He played a key role in resolving the issues of Akhanda 2 and ensured a smooth release for the film. Dil Raju will release Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju and Sharwanand’s Nari Nari Naduma Murari in the Nizam region.
Young producer S Naga Vamsi initially acquired the theatrical rights of Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan but the reports say that he opted out from the deal. Dil Raju will now release the film in Telugu in Nizam and Vizag regions. With other Sankranthi releases around, he has to allocate theatres for this dubbed film. Prabhas’ Raja Saab is releasing on January 9th along with Jana Nayagan. Dil Raju is now left in a tricky situation. He is discussing scripts with Prabhas and the duo will collaborate very soon.
In the Nizam region, Dil Raju’s SVC has to allocate a good number of screens for Raja Saab after the other films release. During the core holiday season, the theatres have to be shared equally. Despite holding several films, Dil Raju has to allocate screens for Raja Saab for Prabhas. Dil Raju was blamed several times in the past and he was targeted. He is now left in a tricky situation as he has to stay away from controversies for Sankranthi 2026 as he has a film lined up with Prabhas. Dil Raju himself revealed that he was a soft target for many and he has to be extra cautious during Sankranthi as he has to balance business along with the relation with Prabhas. There is a big bet on Raja Saab when compared to the other releases.
Dil Raju is also investing big money on Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and the film is directed by Anil Ravipudi. Dil Raju has a big job during Sankranthi 2026.
