Warangal: Following hue and cry from the opposition parties that no due scientific procedure is being followed in creation of new districts in Telangana, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao asked the opposition to explain him what is scientific procedure. “Please explain me scientific procedure, what is scientific process?,” KCR asked a reporter while answering to a question after offering a golden crown worth Rs.3.5 crore to Hindu goddess Bhadrakali in Warangal on Sunday.
Replying to a query from another scribe on various protesting cropping up for new districts besides 31 selected districts, the Chief Minister questioned,”Is it possible to carve out district for each and every village?”
He also said that there were several aberrations and confusion being caused in implementing welfare schemes. If there are 2 to 4 lakh people per each district, it is very easy for the officials to monitor and oversee that the government schemes are delivered to the right beneficiaries. Stating that the creation of new districts were already mentioned in the election manifesto of the TRS party, KCR said that every paisa being spent will be utilised in a proper way.
