Sekhar Kammula filed a police case after a fraudster cheated several people claiming he is assistant of Sekhar Kammula.
The fraudster advertised in a website saying, Sekhar Kammula is looking for fresh faces for his upcoming movie. As Sekhar Kammula is known for launching new faces in his movies, many people believed this ad and contacted the numbers given in the ad. Then he demanded a nominal fee between Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,800 and deposit in the given bank details. As the fee was very nominal, nobody got any doubt. This website ran for 25 days and several people deposited money into account and nobody complained as the amount was not very big.
But somebody got doubt and complained police and police approached Sekhar Kammula and he was shocked to hear this. He along with victims complained police and cyber crime department is investigating the case.
