Tamil actor Suriya carries a strong fan base in Telugu states and has created a superb market for his films here. His recent film ’24’ collected solid revenues in all areas and emerged as the biggest hit in his career. Tollywood producers are readily shelling out huge money to bag his films as they are finding decent patronage among the Telugu audience.
According to the latest update, the Telugu rights of Suriya upcoming film, S3, have been bagged by popular producer Malkapuram Siva Kumar for a whopping price. It is learnt that the producer has acquired the rights of both Andhra and Nizam regions for a record price(Approx 18 Crores says a close source). The shooting of this much awaited sequel is happening in Vizag at present and the makers are planning to release it for Diwali. Hari is directing this cop drama which features Shruti Haasan and Anushka as the heroines.
Gnanavel Raja is producing the film and Harris Jayraj is composing the tunes .
