Srinivasa Kalyanam is an upcoming family entertainer starring Nithiin, Raashi Khanna in lead roles.The film is directed by Sathish Vegesna and produced by the successful banner Sri Venkateshwara Creations headed by Dil Raju. Music for the film is composed by Mickey J Meyer.

The album begins with Kalyanam Vaibhogam sung by the legendary SPB and it has already become quite popular for its melodious tones. Lyrics by Srimani speak greatly and in depth about the institution of marriage and companionship. The song swifty sets the mood for the album with a breezy beginning.

Ekkada Nuvvunte is a fun number which is youthful and also speaks about hero’s characterization in style. Srimani gives a fresh approach to the youngster’s perception about life and positivity. Dhanunjay does a job with his peppy vocals and the song has an interesting fusion touch to it.

Mickey next venture Ithadena Ithadena out to his strongest aspect- of a feel good female solo this time from Shreya Ghoshal. The song has very powerful string section which fuses well with trance beats. Srimani brings the best of a young woman in love through his fantastic lyrics. The entire song has a good poetic feel which sets the right groove.

A duet named Modalaudam sung by Sunitha and Anurag Kulkarni arrives next which maintains the same pleasantness. Rama Jogayya Sastry does a commendable job with his neat lyrics and breezy usage of words. The interludes are gripping and also keeps the pleasantness intact.

Something Something Ga is a party number which has the influence of blues in terms of saxophone,live drumming and interesting usage of keys. Anurag Kulkarni, Shravana Bhargavi perform quite well with their funky vocals. Srimani captures the conversational style with quite an ease and it reflecs in the song.

The album also goes to folk style with Vinavamma Toorpu Chukka sung by Sunitha which speaks about the arrangements of wedding. The song has the hangover of Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu title melody but maintains its novelty in terms of lyrics.

The finale occus with Kalyanam Vaibhogam (Climax Version) with additional strings and beauty attached to it. SPB does a fantastic job even in higher octave with his powerful vocals. Composed in auspicious raaga Madhyamavati, this song is undoubtedly the highlight .

Verdict:

Mickey J Meyer sticks to his well proven formula of feel good numbers and Srinivasa Kalyanam follows the suit.
