Megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film
Megastar Chiranjeevi will return to silver screen after a long gap. He will join forces with VV Vinayak for the Telugu remake of Tamil hit Kaththi. Ram Charan will oversee the production activities under his Konidela Productions banner. The film was formally launched today in Hyderabad and the regular shooting will commence in the next month. Let this be the 150th or the 151th film in his career, expectations are always high for a Megastar’s film. It is learnt that the shoot will be wrapped up by October and the film will hit the screens for Sankranthi.
On the other hand, Nandamuri Balakrishna, who has been carrying the legacy of the illustrious Nandamuri family, will be working with creative cineaste Krish Jagarlamudi for his 100th film which is set against the historical background of Gauthamiputra Satakarni. Balakrishna, who is playing the titular role, is leaving no stone unturned to make it a memorable one in his career. The film went on floors recently and the regular shooting will flag off in Morocco. Krish himself is pooling resources for this film on First Frame Entertainment banner. He is planning to release the film during Sankranthi.
So, one can expect what will be the atmosphere when both Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi slug it out at the box office after a long time. Yes, it can’t get better. Wait till Sankranthi 2017.
